Panela Cinnamon Twist Tortilla Chips

Ingrédients: 
  • 2 9-inch whole wheat tortillas
  • 1/2 cup grated panela or cane sugar
  • 1/2 lemon (zested)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions: 
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Combine panela, lemon zest, lemon juice and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush each tortilla with half of the panela mixture.
  3. Using a pizza cutter or large knife, cut tortilla into 8 slices.
  4. On a lightly sprayed baking sheet, place tortilla slices brushed side down. Brush top of tortilla slices with remaining mixture.
  5. Bake tortilla slices for 10-15 minutes, until they are crispy and the edges curl up.
